The short version
Cageside has no accounts, no forms and no ads. It does not set cookies and does not track you across other websites.
What is stored in your browser
Two small items, both only to make the site work for you, and neither ever sent to us. Your light or dark preference is kept in local storage. Your scroll position is kept in session storage so the back button returns you to where you were; it disappears when you close the tab.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are popular. It is cookie-free and does not build a profile of you: it records the page, referrer, country, browser and device type in aggregate, without storing your IP address.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and requested page) for a short time for security and reliability. See Vercel's privacy policy.
Third parties
Event data is fetched by our server, so your browser never contacts those sources. If you choose “Add to calendar”, you are sent to Google Calendar and Google's terms apply from there.
Changes
If this ever changes, for example by adding cookies, this page will be updated first.
